Market Rasen’s NAP: WIN MY WINGS | 1:40pm Bud Booth Mares’ Chase (Fillies’ & Mares’ Listed) | Dom’s Pick
A close enough affair on ratings and Christian Williams’ mare is taken to land the odds after winning her last two starts, including at the April Meeting when winning over fences for the first time.
She’d ran with credit over the larger obstacles prior to that, however, and took a valuable hurdle contest at Compiegne when last seen.
There should be more to come in this sphere given the fact she is a winning pointer and she remains lightly-raced given that she is an 8-year-old.
NB: FRESH NEW DAWN | 2:40pm Racing TV Handicap Chase
The son of Flemensfirth son probably won’t get too many better opportunities to extend his win record to two given the form of Olly Murphy’s stable at present.
It’s noticeable that the Warwickshire chief sends a small-but-select duo of contenders for the Lincolnshire card and his yard have a decent record at this track, with Fergus Gregory taking a handy 3lb off the selection’s back.
This doesn’t look an overly strong contest and Tom Lacey’s San Agustin is the obvious alternative under Jonathan Burke.
