Stratford’s NAP: COURTANDBOULD | 2:40pm Brian And Sheila Vaughan Memorial Handicap Chase | Dom’s Pick
The seven-year-old came on leaps and bounds for his Southwell chase debut when taking the spoils at Uttoxeter and he’s now pitched into handicap company at a track where he has previous form.
He was a duel winner at this course in 2020 over the smaller obstacles but has the scope and size of a chaser, so should fare better in this sphere.
Connections now step him up in trip and he is a worthy favourite in this valuable contest.

Robert Walford’s Elios D’or has been a model of consistency and may well receive market support, but he was a tad disappointing at Worcester recently and could be taking on with the recent Newton Abbot victor.
She was travelling nicely into contention at Stratford back in March before crashing out but finished a solid third at Warwick thereafter before her Devon exploits were rewarded.
A 2lb rise for that hardly looks overwhelming and she’s still very lightly raced given she is an eight-year-old.
