CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL SELECTION: FOLCANO – 2:10pm Pertemps Network Final Handicap Hurdle

Gordon Elliott is known to consider the Pertemps as one of his biggest targets for the festival and he could have a strong contender for the race in FOLCANO.

The seven-year-old has only been seen three times so far this season, featuring in three big handicaps in Ireland over the winter months.

With the considerable amount of rainfall Cheltenham has taken over the course of today, it will very likely be softer to heavier conditions tomorrow which will not worry Folcano in the slight.

Gordon Elliot's Folcano could be one to note in the Pertemps

The gelding won a maiden hurdle on heavy ground last year and while he still remains relatively unexposed over the trip, he could well have more to offer.

Currently holding a price of 14/1, Folcano could well be in the mix if at his best here.
