CHELTENHAM FESTIVAL SELECTION: THREEUNDERTHRUFIVE | 2:10pm Brown Advisory Novices’ Chase (Grade 1)

Despite being some prominent figures in the betting for the Brown Advisory, it could well be worth taking a chance on the outsider that is Threeunderthrufive.

The seven-year-old has been given his opportunity in Grade 1 company following a respectable campaign for his connections, winning four of his five starts over fences.

That includes success over C&D back in November and two Grade 2 victories over the winter months at Doncaster and Warwick.

The gelding does face a much classier field here than what he’s normally used to, but he’s in the capable hands of Adrian Heskin and his course experience should not be ignored.

Holding a current price of 16/1, Threeunderthrufive could well be pushing for the places in this contest at the very least.
