The second day of the April Meeting gets underway at Cheltenham on Thursday, with seven more races on offer for jumps fans.
The action kicks off with the Listed Mares’ Novices’ Hurdle at 1:30 and concludes with the 2m1f Mares’ Bumper at 5:00.
Following their 54/1 double yesterday, the team have made three more selections for the seven-race card at Prestbury Park.
Here are their best bets for the second day of the April Meeting.
NAP: MADERA MIST – 3:15 Cheltenham (7/2 – Various)
A previous winner at Cheltenham, Madera Mist could well put up a big run in the Sporting Agenda Mares’ Handicap Chase.
Tim Vaughan’s recruit featured in this contest 12 months ago, finishing second behind Scottish Grand National winner Win My Wings.
She remains at a workable mark and the ground shouldn’t be an issue, with her price of 7/2 holding some appeal in this contest.
NB: ILE DE JERSEY – 3:50 Cheltenham (6/1 – Various)
Hailing from Nicky Henderson’s yard, Ile De Jersey could have more to offer in the Grade 3 Fillies’ Juvenile Handicap Hurdle.
The four-year-old has won two of her five starts over hurdles and she struck on her British debut at Ludlow back in February.
The filly could well have more improvement in her and she holds some interest with her 6/1 price tag.
