Here’s our best bets for Monday afternoon and evening…

Brighton

Tawaagoq: 3:10pm – Has won three of his last five starts. Won at this course just under three years ago and has top claimer Angus Villiers in plate taking 5lbs off his back. Would maybe prefer a bit more juice in the ground but looks a major player here nonetheless.

Genesius: 4:10pm – Remains only 2lbs above last winning mark and makes his debut for Sir Mark Prescott here. Disappointed on his last start at Yarmouth in October but that was in very heavy ground and an ease in conditions here should suit.

Ballinrobe

Gelee Blanche: 5:30pm - Willie Mullins' mare looked unsuited by the extended trip last time out and the Closutton representative is back in distance here. She makes her handicap debut here under Brian Hayes and could have more to give off a mark of 109 in a contest that doesn't look overly strong.

Trainer Willie Mullins after Turban won the Underwriting Exchange Dan Moore Memorial Handicap Steeplechase at Fairyhouse Racecourse, Ratoath, Ireland.
We're hoping that Willie Mullins can claim a double on Ballinrobe's card this Monday evening

Memorable Daise: 7:30pm - Mullins' bumper record is unquestionable he his Presenting six-year-old can put her Tramore experience to use here. She was well supported in the market that day and wasn't beaten too far, so is sure to improve and can go two places better here.
