After a winning NAP and 25-1 each-way selection on Friday, how many of the following four can get the week off to a flier?
Take a read.
Stephen Ryan’s mare improved for the trip when finishing second on her last star at Cork earlier this month.
The slightly quicker ground appeared to play into her favour and she looks to have similar conditions today, and Paul Cawley takes a handy 7lbs off her back.
If able to replicate her last performance, she looks sure to go close.
A good fourth on debut over hurdles, the son of Shirocco won a bumper in December so knows how to get his head in front.
Handler John Joseph Hanlon is currently on course for his best season since 2014-15, and his five-year-old gelding may get him closer to that tally on Monday afternoon.
Paul Nicholls’ French recruits are always worth noting on their English debut and that is no exception for the Coastal Path gelding.
He won his sole start in France in December and the form from that contest has been boosted encouragingly since.
Lorcan Williams claims 3lbs so he’s potentially still well in at the weights and is taken to make it a perfect start to life for Ditcheat.
Fergal O’Brien closes in on 100 winners for the season and he may well land it with his previous course-and-distance third.
The Phoenix Reach gelding has not been seen since his bronze medal effort here in November but remains off a mark of 137 and that may well not deter him from accomplishing this small field.
He is ultra-consistent, not finishing out of the top three when finishing his race since November 2018, and looks the obvious selection here with his rivals having to answer a few questions.
