CATTERICK
Queen's Sargent | 2:50pm Every Race Live On Racing TV Handicap

Kevin Ryan's gelding ran a cracker in the Spring Mile at Doncaster last month on his seasonal debut and he remains only 1lbs above his last winning mark.

Kevin Ryan trained three Group 1 winners in 2020

He drops back in trip to seven furlongs where he tasted success on two occasions last season and with conditions in his favour, he rates a big chance to take this now down in grade.

Kevin Stott takes the ride.

Harrogate | 5:05pm Racing Again 10th May Apprentice Handicap

In a contest that isn't loaded with depth, it may not take much more than his recent course-and-distance success for Paul Midgley's charge to go one better here.

It normally takes him a couple of outings before hitting the front and that case can be replicated here, particularly given his fairly lowly rating of 58 - once off a mark of 79 in his pomp.

LUDLOW
Tinkers Hill Tommy | 2:40pm Shukers Landrover Defender Handicap Chase

The son of King's Theatre has been ultra-consistent in his 11-race career under rules thus far, winning or placing on eight occasions.

He took the step up in class in his stride at Newbury last time and a 7lbs rise in the weights may not deter his chances of landing the hat-trick for Rebecca Curtis here.

Ideally, he'd want a bit more juice in the ground but he still appears the safest selection in this field.

Call Me Vic | 3:50pm Eddie Mapp Memorial Open Hunters' Chase

Fergal O'Brien's yard is in flying form and the Gloucestershire-based handler brought up his century for the season at Kempton Park on Monday evening.

The former Tom George trained 14-year-old ran a cracker on stable-debut at Cheltenham in October before an easy success at Sandown on his next start.

He concedes weight all around but has course form, finishing second here in 2015, and conditional Albi Tufnell claims 7lbs off his back.
