The six-year-old has enjoyed a fine summer since his seven-month lay-off, finishing second on his opening two appearances before landing the odds in an event at Newton Abbot three months ago.
He’s now back in handicap company off a mark of 116 but has enough form in the book, particularly from his Ireland excursions, to suggest he could be ahead of that rating.
Still only six, he could have more to give in this sort of sphere and the small-field looks to play into his favour.

Olly Murphy’s charge proved that the fruitful form of his Uttoxeter second ensured he was capable enough of going one better at Worcester on his following start.
He travelled well at the Midlands track and had enough in the tank to deny a late-rallying rival, but a step up in trip looks the key factor here.
His attitude was the most pleasing think to take out of that September performance, being headed near the close but battling on well, and he could be up to defying a penalty with Aidan Coleman back in the plate.
