A hurdles veteran makes the cut for the each-way selection at Uttoxeter on Thursday

Hailing from Kenny Johnson’s yard, Cairnshill could prove to be huge each-way value in a 2m7½f Handicap Hurdle at Uttoxeter.
The ten-year-old is yet to make an impression this season, but he did give a good account of himself when finishing third over an extended three miles at Ayr in January.
Two of the gelding’s three wins have come on good ground and he finished second over C&D over hurdles back in September 2018.
He has slowly regressed in the last couple of seasons, but he could well produce a big run in this level of company.
With a current price of 16/1, Cairnshill could sneak into the places in this contest.
