Kilbrew Boy – 9.00 Worcester (15/2 – Betfair + Paddy Power)
After falling down to a career-low mark of 105, Kilbrew Boy could strike at Worcester on Saturday evening in a 2m7f Handicap Hurdle.
Ben Case’s recruit had hit a bit of poor form over the winter months but he bounced back with a respectable effort at Ludlow three weeks ago, finishing third over 2m5½f.
The gelding is now 2lbs below his last winning mark as well, as he landed victory over fences at Wincanton back in December.
The eight-year-old has been stepped back up in trip but he should be more competitive here, as he has been dropped down into Class 5 for the first time since his Bumper days.
With a price of /1, Kilbrew Boy could well claim success in this contest.
