Trainer Willie Mullins after Turban won the Underwriting Exchange Dan Moore Memorial Handicap Steeplechase at Fairyhouse Racecourse, Ratoath, Ireland.

Inaugural Mares’ Chase heroine Colreevy caused a huge upset in the Grade 1 Dooley Insurance Group Champion Novice Chase on Tuesday evening at Punchestown, downing heavy favourites Monkfish and Envoi Allen.

The Willie Mullins eight-year-old, who was confirmed to be retiring from racing after her County Kildare exploits, made every yard of the running to see off stable-mate Monkfish and fellow star novice Envoi Allen under Danny Mullins.

With victory, the Flemensfirth daughter maintained her unbeaten record over fences in five attempts.

It was part of a five-timer on the card for recent Cheltenham Festival leading trainer Mullins, who enjoyed further Grade 1 success with Chacun Pour Soi in the William Hill Champion Chase.

The Festival bronze medalist saw off Ryanair victor Allaho under Paul Townend and secure his fourth victory of the season.

Echoes In Rain took the eCOMM Merchant Solutions Champion Novice Hurdle ahead of stable-companion Blue Lord, while Jazzaway landed the Killashee Hotel Handicap Hurdle.

Debutant Adamantly Chosen was successful in the Goffs Land Rover Bumper as the Mullins yard secured a quintet of victories on the opening day.

Crowns Major, Singing Banjo and Cousin Harry were the remaining trio of winners from the eight contests on Tuesday.
