The November Meeting Sunday is the final day of the three-day Cheltenham November Meeting that takes place annually at Cheltenham Racecourse.

The November Meeting is comprised of Countryside Day as Day One, Paddy Power Day as Day Two, and The November Meeting Sunday as Day Three. There are 19 exciting races on offer over these three days.

The featured race of The November Meeting Sunday is The Unibet Greatwood Handicap Hurdle Race. The featured race of the entire November Meeting is The Paddy Power Gold Cup Steeple Chase which is the mid-fixture race on Paddy Power Day, Day Two.

The Cheltenham November Meeting Sunday is scheduled for Sunday the 14th of November 2021.

The mallardjewellers.com Novices Steeple Chase is a Class 2 National Hunt steeplechase that is run on the old course of Cheltenham for The November Meeting.

Open to horses aged five years and older, this race covers a total distance of 3 miles and 80 yards and presents 20 obstacles for the novices to navigate.

A share of £20,000 is up for grabs in the novices steeplechase, which is to be shared proportionately between the first four placed horses in the following fashion:

The Plantuer at Chapel Stud Handicap Steeple Chase is a Class 1, Grade 3 National Hunt steeplechase that takes place at Cheltenham Racecourse on The November Meeting’s Sunday.

The total distance of this handicap steeplechase is a fairly lengthy 3 miles, 7 furlongs and 71 yards, featuring 22 fences along its route on Cheltenham’s old course at Prestbury Park.

The generous prize pool on offer is £45,000, which is to be shared amongst the placing competitors proportionately, depending on their final positions:

The Sharp Novices’ Hurdle, titled The Sky Bet Supreme Trial Novices Hurdle Race for sponsorship purposes, is a Grade 2 National Hunt novices’ hurdle that takes place every November at Cheltenham Racecourse for The November Meeting Sunday.

Measuring a relatively short total distance of 2 miles and 87 yards, The Sky Bet Supreme Trial Novices Hurdle Race features 8 hurdles for the horses aged four years and above to negotiate and is run on the old course of Cheltenham.

A share of £26,000 is up for grabs in this brilliant novices’ hurdle race, which is shared accordingly with the first four successful contestants:

The High Sheriff of Gloucestershire Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race is a Listed National Hunt flat race open to horses aged between and including 4 and 6 that takes place at Cheltenham Racecourse annually.

Just like the previous two races of the day, The High Sheriff of Gloucestershire Standard Open National Hunt Flat Race is 2 miles and 87 yards in length but it features no obstacles.

The prize pool on offer is a share of £18,000, which is split between the horses that come in between first-place and fourth-place. Here’s how much is awarded to the placing horses:

  • 1st place – £10,251
  • 2nd place – £3,847
  • 3rd place – £1,926
