The Paddy Power First Millionaire Qualifier Intermediate Handicap Hurdle Race is the sixth race of Paddy Power Day at Cheltenham Racecourse for The November Meeting every year.

For those that aren’t familiar with this event, The November Meeting is a thrilling three-day National Hunt meeting that offers 19 unique races for spectators to indulge in.

It may only be the second National Hunt meeting held at Cheltenham Racecourse in the new season but the trainers, jockeys and punters will already have The Cheltenham Festival in mind as the races unfold.

The main event of The November Meeting is The Paddy Power Gold Cup Steeple Chase which takes place on Day Two, Paddy Power Day, offering a large purse worth £130,000 – around £75k of which goes to the team of the winning horse alone.

There are two other featured races as well, taking place on their respective days of either Day One, Countryside Day or Day Three, The November Meeting Sunday.

About the Race

The Paddy Power First Millionaire Qualifier Intermediate Handicap Hurdle Race is a Class 3 National Hunt hurdle race that is run on the old course of Cheltenham.

It is the first of 6 qualifying races for punters that want to be in with a chance of winning the £1million prize Paddy Power giveaway at The New Year’s Day races every year.

Open to horses aged three years and above, The Paddy Power First Millionaire Qualifier Intermediate Handicap Hurdle Race has a course length of 2 miles, 5 furlongs and 26 yards and consists of 10 hurdles for the contenders to jump.
