Under the guidance of Alastair Ralph, Method Madness could be one to note in a 1m7½f Handicap Hurdle at Ascot.
The gelding is lightly-raced for his age and he struck on his first start over obstacles back in February, winning a maiden event at Ludlow.
The six-year-old has proven to be versatile in terms of ground type, so the faster conditions on offer here shouldn’t be an issue.
He also has the bonus of a 3lb claimer in the saddle, so he could well benefit from that.
At the price of 10/1, Method Madness could be in the mix here.
