An interesting gelding makes the cut for the each-way selection at Haydock
Late Romantic – 2:50 Haydock (14/1 – bet365 + Ladbrokes)
Under the guidance of Oliver Greenall, Late Romantic could be one to note in a 3m1½f Veterans’ Handicap Chase at Haydock.
The gelding finished down the pecking order on his seasonal reappearance at Bangor, finishing 10th of 14 runners.
However, he did produce a near-identical performance when returning to action last year before striking in this contest 12 months ago.
He’s 4lbs better off this time around and the softer conditions should benefit him.
At the price of 14/1, Late Romantic could be in the mix here.
