Brideswell Lad – 5:00 Down Royal (8/1 – bet365)

A gelding with plenty of potential, Brideswell Lad could strike in a 2m1f Handicap Hurdle at Down Royal for Seamus Neville.

The five-year-old broke his maiden at Tramore earlier in the month, running out a game winner over 2m5f in soft conditions.

Could Brideswell Lad strike for Seamus Neville?

This is a significant drop down in trip but he did run well in a bumper over 2m2f at Punchestown back in April, finishing fifth.

He has the bonus of a 5lb claimer in the saddle, which should benefit him on his handicap debut.

At the price of 8/1, Brideswell Lad could well push for the places here.
