Thahab Ifraj – 2.15 Market Rasen (11/1 – William Hill)

Hailing from Alexandra Dunn’s yard, Thahab Ifraj returns to tackle hurdles after a six-month hiatus.

The eight-year-old has tackled both codes in recent time but his best form has come in the National Hunt sphere, winning two of his last three starts over the smaller obstacles.

Could Thahab Ifraj land his third victory in four races?

The softer ground went against him on his last start at Wincanton back in December and the gelding should appreciate the better conditions in Lincolnshire.

He is only 2lbs higher than his last winning mark and he should remain at a competitive level in terms of his handicap rating.

With a 5lb claimer booked in, Thahab Ifraj could well outrun his odds of 11/1 here.
