A 2m4½f Handicap Hurdle at Market Rasen holds the day’s each-way bet, with a hurdler from Kim Bailey’s yard catching some interest.
Shinobi has made a gradual decline in the ratings since October and is now 1lb higher than his last winning mark.
The gelding was poor on his last outing in April, but he may well have needed the run to blow off the cobwebs after a three-month break.
Experienced jockey David Bass takes the rides and he could well rejuvenate the five-year-old back into form.
With a cracking price of 20/1, Shinobi could sneak into the places here at least.
