Red Giant – 3.40 Perth (10/1 – William Hill)
Representing Jennie Candlish’s yard, Red Giant could bounce back to form for his connections in a three-mile handicap chase at Perth on Thursday.
The ten-year-old has been disappointing since returning to action back in May, as he has been pulled up in both of his outings this year.
The gelding can be forgiven for his latest effort after it transpired that there was blood found in his nostrils and therefore could be given another chance here.
He is currently only 3lbs higher than his last winning mark and is now 10lbs lower than his C&D victory that came back in April 2019.
Red Giant should be competitive in this company and offers some value at the price of 10/1.
