Willie Mullins has dominated the Punchestown Festival so far, and his list of winners this week could well continue with El Barra in the SalesSense International Novice Hurdle.

The seven-year-old landed his first win over obstacles on his last start, making all in comfortable fashion at Fairyhouse in a maiden hurdle at the beginning of the month.

Trainer Willie Mullins after Turban won the Underwriting Exchange Dan Moore Memorial Handicap Steeplechase at Fairyhouse Racecourse, Ratoath, Ireland.

This is a much tougher task for the gelding, but he could have more to offer in novice company.

With a planned switch to chasing next season, this could be the final start over hurdles for Mullins’ prospect and he looks the better value here compared to stablemate M C Muldoon (10/3).

At a price of 11/1, El Barra could prove to be a worthy each-way selection in this contest at Punchestown.
