Klassical Dream – 5.25 Punchestown (22/1 – Ladbrokes)

The winner of the 2019 Supreme Novices’ Hurdle at the Cheltenham Festival, Klassical Dream returns to a racetrack for the first time in 16 months at Punchestown.

Willie Mullins’ talent burst onto the two-mile novice hurdle scene in the 2018/19 season, winning all four of his starts that term.

However, he struggled the next season as he could only manage third in the Morgiana Hurdle before finishing the last of five runners in the Matheson Hurdle a month later.

That was the seven-year-old’s last outing and he has been stepped up to three miles here, which is a question mark for him.

But the racing words knows Willie Mullins is a magician when it comes to training horses and at 22/1, I’m happy to take a chance with Klassical Dream returning to his former glory at Punchestown.
