Hybery – 4.50 Punchestown (33/1 – William Hill + Ladbrokes)
Hailing from the powerhouse yard of Willie Mullins, Hybery has a point to prove in the Grade B Killashee Hotel Handicap Hurdle at Punchestown this afternoon.
The seven-year-old has struggled with the testing conditions over the winter months, but he could revive his form with the quicker ground here.
He claimed sixth in a big-field maiden hurdle and his only placing effort in handicaps came on good ground (2nd at Tipperary in October).
Mullins’ gelding is wearing cheekpieces for the first time with the hope that it could reform him, after two poor runs at Wexford and Fairyhouse in recent weeks.
At a price of 33/1, Hybery could claim a place if he can improve on his previous outings.
