Dr Sanderson – 3.40 Uttoxeter (9/1 – William Hill)
A gelding that has failed to fire so far this season, Dr Sanderson could bounce back at Uttoxeter in a 2m4f Handicap Chase on Wednesday.
The seven-year-old was incredible poor on his last outing, finishing 110 lengths off the winner at Cartmel back in May.
Ben Haslam’s recruit has been bumped down 3lbs in the ratings following that run and is now 2lbs below his last winning mark.
He should appreciate the step back up in trip and the better ground and the galloping track should suit him.
At the price of 9/1, Dr Sanderson could return to winning ways here.
