Trooper Jones – 4.15 Worcester (20/1 – bet365)

A 2m4f Maiden Hurdle holds the day’s each-way bet, with an interesting runner from Mel Rowley’s yard potentially holding value.

Trooper Jones signalled some promising in several point contests, including a third-place finish at Larkhill on good ground over this distance back in December.

Finishing Post Worcester
Can Trooper Jones land a first win under rules at Worcester?

The six-year-old showed hints of ability on rules debut at Ludlow back in March, finishing fourth of six runners over 2m5½f.

He was pulled up on his last start at Bangor when stepped up in distance but he is back in the familiar territory of 2m4f.

If Trooper Jones can show further progress here, then 20/1 could well be each-way value in this contest.
