Sedgefield’s NAP: EL BORRACHO | 5:20pm Roflow Ventilation For Industry & Workplace Handicap Chase | Dom’s Pick
Oliver Greenall’s gelding has ran creditably in defeat on the last three occasions and remains only 4lb higher than his last winning mark.
He has either won or placed on all three of his chase starts to date and looks to have been found a good opening to return to winning ways here, looking nicely in at the weights with Henry Brooke aboard.
The six-year-old carries plenty of racecourse experience and makes his track debut here, but previous history suggests the left-handed course will suit.
NB: MONTANNA | 6:20pm In Memory Of Ray McLean Novices’ Handicap Chase
The Pembrokeshire-based seven-year-old makes the long trip to North England and is the only representative for the Peter Bowen yard in County Durham.
Since reverting to fences, the son of Notnowcando has already fared much better as a chaser than he did over timber and remains just 3lb higher than his Ffos Las winning mark from June, so evidently isn’t quite handicapped out of things.
He was wasn’t disgraced when upped to 24 furlongs at Uttoxeter last time out, and can have the beating of Laura Morgan’s Supreme Yeats and Ballyellis, who both make their debut in this spheres.
