Sligo hosts Thursday’s sole National Hunt fixture and we’ve delved through the card to pick out our best bet of the night.
Given the form line, it’s hard to make a case for The Little Yank to overturn the form with stable-mate Ferdia.
The former John Ryan trained gelding was convincingly behind his Tipperary counterpart at Roscommon back in June and now has to concede weight to the five-year-old.
This is a slightly shorter trip but it still doesn’t look to pose too much of an issue to the Philip Donovan mount, who won his next start back down at two miles and was victorious over a similar trip to this on his debut in May.
He’s the more unexposed of the two and should have more to give now down in class.
