Local trainer Dr. Richard Newland toasted success with this runner at Market Rasen last time out, while he won at Uttoxeter back in June.

He’s twice finished runner-up at this track at other parts across the season so could well still have enough in the locker to take this now raised 5lb.

Sam Twiston-Davies takes the hot seat aboard Taste The Fear at Worcester

The winner he chased home here back in June won a handicap event over hurdles off a mark of 131 with ease subsequently, so there’s every reason to think the son of Mores Well could be ahead of his mark.

NB: WHEN YOU’RE READY | 1:38pm Fred & Mercy Rimell Memorial Handicap Chase

Jonjo O’Neill’s charge disappointed on his seasonal reappearance at Market Rasen back in May but that was a trip that seemed to overextend him and he returns to a mark on 1lb higher than when winning at Leicester in January.

He’s now over fences and that shouldn’t be an issue given that he finished second in his point-to-point back in 2019, while the drop back to the two-mile trip should be in his favour.
