Worcester’s fixture this Thursday gets underway at 1:15pm with 8 races on the card

Dropped 2lb since his last appearance in March, Spanish Jump looks an intriguing contender in the Midlands for Jonjo O’Neill.

He concedes weight all around but given some of his previous form, he may still be well handicapped off a mark of 107 here.

The winner from his last appearance has won twice since, including from a mark of 126, so he looks fairly straightforward enough to make a case for.

It’s still early days and he is only a five-year-old, but the Gloucestershire yard he represents remains in good form and rider Gavin Sheehan is enjoying an excellent vein of form in the saddle of late.
